Development

Bowls SA has a strong commitment to the development of Lawn Bowls through all of South Australia.

We currently conduct a number of programs aimed at introducing young players into the sport, but at the same time looking to further develop the skills of those already involved.

A recent initiative has seen the introduction of Junior Development Squads in various regions across SA, with more planned for the future.

We're also committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, with specialised programs for athletes with a disability. Find out more by clicking on the Persons with Disability link below.

For those with limited time on their hands and who just want to have a social bowl with their mates, Night Owls is the program for you. Conducted at a growing number of clubs across country and metro areas, Night Owls allows you to have a bowl in a fun, social environment.
