Saltmarsh wins Open Singles

Home club hero Colin Saltmarsh has taken out the 2009/10 Bowls SA Open Singles in convincing fashion at the Marion Bowling Club. Mastering the breezy conditions quickly, the consistency of Saltmarsh prevailed over the aggressive game plan of West Lakes Mark Haines. After trailing early, some big numbers through the middle stages pushed Saltmarsh out to a handy lead and he was never headed.

Bowls SA would like to congratulation Colin on his win and also thank the Marion Bowling Club for once again providing all bowlers with exceptional greens and hospitality.
